I wanted a set of inexpensive tires for my 2006 Prius and came across these on Simple Tire. I have a daily commute of 40 miles each way consisting of a mix of straight freeway, high speed mountain roads, as well as very low speed, hairpins and switch backs. The slow speed sections are very steep grades. The roads are very difficult on all types of vehicles. The tire and brake wear is heavy to extreme on all vehicles. For that reason, I did not want to spend a lot of money on tires that will only last me on average 12 months. So far, these Lexani tires have impressed me with their durability, comfort, handling in the wet and dry, and their very quiet ride. I have not had them long enough to check on the life expectancy but at the price, I cannot go wrong.
